The Crusades began in the year 1095, when all the Christians were called to fight by Pope Urban II. The motive behind the war was that the Christians felt that they deserved to have the land on which Jesus Christ lived and walked on. But since it was under the possession of the Muslims, they decided to conquer them. The first Crusade took place in the year 1096, and ended in Victory. The later Crusades were all failures for the Christians, for once the warriors arrived to fight, they were tired or incapable of planning any good strategies.Even though, the Crusades were a failing attempt at regaining the land, they brought many good things.
